Rowland Rees Evans has represented the Llanrhystud ward on Ceredigion County Council since 2004.

Alongside his role as a Councillor, Rowland is the Director of his family business Parc Penrhos in Llanrhystud, and is Director of Mid Wales Tourism.

Rowland is an avid supporter of the Scarlets and Wales rugby teams, loves all sports, and is working to improve his golf handicap which currently stands at 13.

Rowland is born and bred in Llandrhystud and loves it there.  He lives with his wife Sian, children, Gweni and Ioan, along with their cat Daphne.

Rowland says the best thing about being a Councillor is being able to help people in his community, and making a difference.  He became a Welsh Liberal Democrat because he believes in fairness, and in helping those in society who need support.
