Concern over loss of library services in Cardigan

Ceredigion Member of Parliament Mark Williams has been inundated with correspondence from concerned residents in Cardigan regarding the possible loss of library services in the town.

Mark said "I am certainly very concerned to hear that closure has been mooted as a possibility and reiterate the importance of the library to Cardigan and the surrounding area. Ceredigion County Councillors, I know, will be very mindful of the strength of public feeling on this issue.

“It is abundantly clear that the demand for library services is strong and I very much hope that the Council will respond clearly to these concerns to ensure that Cardigan retains a library service to meet these demands.”
