Re-open our playgrounds!

259 of 300 signatures

Aberystwyth's playgrounds have been closed since the first lockdown in March, leaving our children without a dedicated safe place to play in the town.

Parks elsewhere in Ceredigion and across Wales have already re-opened safely, but so far Aberystwyth Town Council has refused to follow suit.

Local parents and children are angry, and the Children's Commissioner for Wales has suggested the Council should consider local children's right to play.

Cadan ap Tomos and Aberystwyth Liberal Democrats are campaigning to reopen our town's playgrounds. If you agree, please sign our petition.

I/we, the undersigned, call on Aberystwyth Town Council to re-open our town's playgrounds to give our children a safe place to play.
